and my passion fades;
Sleep paralysis: A frightening form of paralysis that occurs when a person suddenly finds himself or herself unable to move for a few minutes, most often upon falling asleep or waking up. Sleep paralysis is due to an ill-timed disconnection between the brain and the body.
The symptoms of sleep paralysis include sensations of noises, smells, levitation, paralysis, terror, and images of frightening intruders. The paralysis can last from several seconds to several minutes after which the individual may experience panic symptoms and the realization that the distorted perceptions were false. Once considered very rare, about half of all people are now believed to experience sleep paralysis sometime during their life.
i just experienced that yesterday. im a very deep sleeper, so its like almost impossible for me to wake up in the middle of a sleep without disturbance. my eyes kept opening and i was fighting to keep them closed, then i felt as if my head was contracting and there was this very loud ringing sound, which felt as if i was on a helicopter. i felt cold and hot at the same time, and i only had energy to bend my toes. scary experience. after i was really conscious, i kept looking around, feeling as if something was going to appear. like danger
i just read that if you sleep face up or have irregular sleeping patterns, it increases the possibility of paralysis and hallucinations. oh no
